Research & Discovery

The client needed a contemporary website redesign built on a platform that was easy to use and responsive for cross-mobile uniformity. The website deserved vibrant color, a straightforward navigation, and a custom design representative of their brand, community, and sponsors.

concept Design

Floods of color were added to reproduce the colors of not only their branding but also the colors of the rainbow flag. These were added throughout the concept for the news, buttons, background imagery, and the footer. Drop down menus fill the need for a thinned-out navigation. A countdown timer was proposed to inform users of the approaching festival's date.

Development

We designed a fully-responsive website using concrete5. It worked beautifully for the client's need to have a simplified editing experience. Not only does the website use a contemporary layout, it informs users of on-site information with the aid of punchy colors, consistent negative space, block-style headings, and fast load times.
